Margherita Pizza kit Recipe

Yield: 1 12-inch Pizza    
Baking Time: 8-10 minutes

INGREDIENTS (Included in your Margherita Pizza Kit):

•  1 Dough Ball
•  00-Grind Caputo Flour    
•  San Marzano Tomato Sauce
•  House Made Mozzarella & Pecorino Romano Cheese
•  Fresh Basil Leaves

YOU WILL NEED:

•  Baking Sheet

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Let your dough sit at room temperature for 30 minutes to an hour before starting. (Enough time to have with a nice beverage!)

2. Preheat oven to 500º F. 

3. Sprinkle the Caputo Flour on your countertop, a large enough area for a 12” crust.

4. Gently press out the dough ball starting with your fingertips. Rotate the dough clock-wise as you go, and as it gets bigger, use the entire palm of your hand. Don’t worry too much about the shape, the main goal is consistent thickness, about ¼ inch. This is the quick and easy way to press out our dough, to get more detailed instruction that will almost certainly help create a more authentic Neapolitan style pizza crust, check out Chef Mike’s tutorial video here!

5. Place the dough on your Baking Sheet and bake it in the pre-heated oven for 2 minutes. 

6. Take out your pizza and pour the San Marzano Tomato Sauce onto center of the crust. Using a spoon spread the sauce out evenly keeping one inch from the edge.

7. Next, sprinkle our House Made Mozzarella & Pecorino Romano Cheese on top and bake for about 5-6 minutes more, or until cheese is melted and crust is golden brown.

8. Let pizza cool, then cut into 6 pieces and garnish with basil. Bravo! You did it, now enjoy!
